Catalogue of revisions and updates:

February 26, 2005:
After being down for quite some time, I have now reloaded the website! (I know you liked it; I had many requests to bring it back!) It's not updated though. Coming soon, I will update the About Me, Portfolio, Résumé, and Pictures sections. I promise!

March 4, 2004:
Having neglected updating the website since June 2003, today I refreshed the portfolio section to reflect last semester's and this semester's courses. The pictures from Australia and New Zealand post-Tasmania trip are still not up, but may be up one day soon.

May 12, 2003:
After a decent amount of downtown, a good 3 weeks or so, the website is finally back up and running again! My apologies to all those who tried visiting over the last few weeks but were unable to see anything. The silver lining in this grey cloud is that from the amount of people who IM'ed, e-mailed, or told me in person that the site was not working means that all of you are routinely checking it (most likely for the pictures) and like the work! I am honored and humbled to have so many visitors coming so often.

The reason the site was down, for those of you who are curious, was because the server the site was running on completely crashed. I still don't know why it did this, but the crash was serious enough that I could not even remotely access the server from Melbourne. I owe a lot to my friend Sean who very graciously went over to check on the server, and after seeing the crash, completely rebuilt the server. If it was not for him, you would not be reading this page right now. If you see Sean, thank him. You might even want to give him a present. Or, give me a present and I'll give it to Sean when I see him. Sean, like me, appreciates cash gifts and various expensive techno-gadgets.

Besides the server work, you'll notice that plenty of more photos have been added to the pictures section of the website, including the ones of my recent trip to Western Australia during mid-semester break. Just make sure you have some time before checking out those pics -- there are 402 of them posted!

More pictures will be posted as they are taken and eventually those other updates listed below will happen. In the mean time, enjoy the pics!

March 15, 2003:
Lots of updates, but still plenty more to go! Now in Melbourne, I moved off to the PSU Personal server and added a gallery of photos from my trips here. More Melbourne photos will be added as I take them. OIder photos, such as times back at PSU, will be added as I have time to update the gallery.

The original index page was replaced now that Art 003 is over. The contact page was also updated to reflect my moving halfway around the world! The class portfolio page and resume were updated, too. However, detailed pages for the portfolio still need to be created. The policy page also should get a refreshing at some point.

December 7, 2002:
After creating a group website to fulfill Assignment 7, a link was added to the Art 003 page. Note that for now the website, compiled another group member, is located on group member Christina's website. At the completion of the semester, I will attemept to archive it on this website, as well.

November 30, 2002:
Added Assignment 6 for my Art 003 class. It is very similar to Assignment 2, except instead of an HTML slideshow, the pictures are displayed in a PDF portfolio.

November 27, 2002:
My group project for IST 432 was uploaded today. It is a portal discussing the legal issues related to online auctions. A semester's worth of work -- done!

November 15, 2002:
Added Assignment 5 for my Art 003 class. You can puruse by lovely animated graphics -- the first moving Flash animations I ever made. Have fun!

October 27, 2002:
Added Assignment 4 for my Art 003 class. The assignment was to design three vector-based images. So Happy Halloween -- enjoy the treats!

October 7, 2002:
Added Assignment 3 for my Art 003 class. The project allowed me to show off my creative side. Let me know what you think of my images, especially the last two I made.

September 15, 2002:
Added Assignment 2 for my Art 003 class. This assignment involved uploading at least 10 digital photos in a slideshow format. Enjoy!

September 6, 2002:
You might have noticed, that for almost a year now, there have been no updates to this website. The main reason being an overloaded schedule of classes, work, and other activities. And while this update is minor, it is a step in the right direction. As my web-based art class, Art 003, requires we post our materials online, I have created a page for Art 003 assignments and updated the Portfolio page to reflect the classes I am taking this semester and in previous semesters that were not listed prior to this update. This update is merely the framework -- content is on it's way . . . whenever I find a free minute to write blurbs about my long forgotten classes. In the meantime, enjoy the site.

November 4, 2001:
Not a lot of updates to the log recently -- mainly due to an overall lack of updates. The online calendar off of the Scheduled Tasks page was fixed mid-October. After an initial re-beta testing period, I am confident to announce that you can start using it again. Also, as per another recent homework assignment, there has been another update the the IST 230 Portfolio. As with the last update, this assignment required us to write a question for use on our next midterm.

September 24, 2001:
Per a recent homework assignment, there has been an update in the IST 230 Portfolio. As the assignment says, we need to write a potential question for our next exam and post it online for the rest of the class to see. More updates will be coming to all the Spring 2001 Portfolios as soon as I have time to write the descriptions and start making PDF copies of my homework assignments.

As for future updates of the site, here is the most current plan -- I will be periodically updating portfolios as needed. During my next chunk of free time, such as over winter break, I will work on getting all my pictures online, starting with the 500 pictures I took in Hawaii this summer. This update will be done concurrently with a server upgrade. I am planning to add a larger hard drive to my Linux server, therby allowing me to move my site off of the PSU server and on to my own machine, which will allow me to use the domain name to its fullest potential. After picture updates will be media updates (i.e.: sounds and video clips). I am also thinking of putting up a quote page under the "And More..." category to document all the interesting quotes I have been accruing. Let me know your thoughts on that.

September 14, 2001:
I have started noticing a problem when I try to sync my Palm to the online calendar. After extensive testing, I think it is because of some corrupted data. Luckily, I have an older version of the data archived. I will transfer to that data source and retype all the entries [I made after mid-August]. I expect to do this around the week of September 25th. I will post an update when it is done. Until then, know that the online calendar is current as of September 14th -- all entries made at any point after than have not been updated yet.

September 2, 2001:
Setup an account on http://my.palm.com to sync my appointment calendar to the web. It can be accessed via the Scheduled Tasks page. I did this so that people at my office can schedule meetings that require my involvement without having to worry about conflicting appointments. It is password protected so only the people at my office, and selected others, can view it. If you are truly interested in seeing my calendar, then e-mail me and if you are worthy enough I will make you one of those "selected others."

August 26, 2001:
New official release of site uploaded. Still have to add pictures and multimedia content. Goal to have site up by the first week fo school made.

New contest announced: If you any any errors (typo, etc.) e-mail them to me. You won't win anything, but I will mention my never-ending gratitude to you on this page.

August 25, 2001:
Revised content on site, specifically in the resume and portfolio sections. Also added list of updates to this page.

August 24, 2001:
Started to revise content on site, but was sidetracked and ended up not doing too much.

August 9, 2001:
Spent the day poolside with my laptop in Hawaii writing yet more content for the portfolio section.

July, 2001:
Started on complete redesign of this website. Developed idea for Windows-like icon navigation; made graphics. Also developed hierarchy for site and started deciding on the purpose of site and what content should be on it. Worked on and off the entire month.

Spring, 2001:
Updated original site to include content from IST 210 and IST 220 classes. Still upset with original ugly layout, I vow to redesign the new page in the summer.

January 8, 2001:
Registered the domain "beneisenberg.com".

September, 2000:
Told to develop a website in my IST 110 class. Completely upset with the assignment, I made a basic site in about 10 minutes knowing it would only be used for posting my IST 110 homework assignments. That old site can still be found here.
