  Information Sciences and Technology 220
The core of Information Sciences and Technology 220 is rooted in networking and telecommunications. The course is taught by Dr. Lee Giles, who is world-renown and highly published in the area of intelligent search engines. Learning from him was an excellent experience.

More than any other course I have taken at Penn State thus far, the content in this course was in areas that I have had a lot of experience in. Working at in the Computer Support staff at West Windsor - Plainsboro High School for three years prepared me for almost everything that was covered in the IST 220 curriculum.

This course primarily filled the holes in my networking knowledge. It provided me with a complete view of network telecommunications. Because I liked the subject, the class kept my interest. My group's project culminated in a 100+ page* report that my team produced on the network and website of a small business.

Class grade received: A

Classwork:

Group Term Project: Network Analysis and Website Design Report
* Note: Not all appendices are included. With appendices, the report is about 120 pages.

Group Term Project: Website
This website we created is a prototype for the small business mentioned in above report - Re/Max Greater Princeton Realty.
** Note: Since the Penn State Personal Server does NOT support ASP (Active Server Pages), some of the more advanced features in the website will not work. Sorry for any inconvenience.

My Internet.com: The Issue of Web Personalization
Exercise Report referencing published articles on the issue of how companies are using web personalization.
