In an
effort to save the best for last, this picture of Alanna standing
on the edge of the cliff, overlooking the vast beauty of the southern
California desert, concludes the slideshow. I stare at this picture
in amazement. There is nothing out there but sand and mountains
protruding from the dirt. This shot was completely candid -- Alanna
had no idea I was shooting her as she pondered what lies over the
edge. In fact, I believe it is such a nice shot, that I had it printed
with a dye sublimation printer, matted, and gave it to Alanna for
her birthday. By the way, the San Andreas Fault lies just over and
to the right of the mountain in the top of the photo.
